Crisco Candles

Why would you even want to do this?
For 99.99% of people, this is going to be a novelty, fun project.

I enjoy the learning aspect, as well as the 'make do with what you have' philosophy.

For that last .01% however this 'hack' might save a life. Like all preps, just keep it in your back pocket.

Great video. One thing pointed out in a video below is how easy a taller bottle might tip. You probably don't need a 300 hour candle to burn continuously, so why not make multiple smaller candles? You can burn multiples for more heat at one time.



My only problem with this video is that if you are going to plan ahead and microwave the Crisco candle, why not skip this and just buy a candle?
