A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Movies

As we can all attest to, having access to movies has been a lifesaver during the current pandemic.

Imagine for a second how lucky we really are though. How different the situation could have been if the internet had gone out for a long period, or worse if the power had gone out altogether.

Start building up a stash of movies you either enjoy watching, or haven't seen yet.

Try hitting up your local Goodwill for used DVD's. Rip them ahead of time and build up your Library.

You can watch them on a laptop if you have a power outage.

If worse comes to worse, you can all pile into a car and watch it there, charging your laptop from the car battery. (Just make sure you don't drain it completely... or have a standard car).
