A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

Dehydrated Apples

Every year in the fall stores drop the prices of apples to a ridiculous price. (Loss Leader).

If you go out and pick up a ton of apples, you can dehydrate them and eat them all year.

Tip:
I'm usually not a fan of these single use machines, but in this case I'll make an exception. Harvest time is hectic to begin with, but with the amount of apples we have to process, it would be unmanageable.
Just make sure you be careful, they are razor sharp, and will slice you up if you are not paying attention.
You can run 2 loads a day.
Apples last a while in the fridge.
