It's amazing the difference in growth between a plant that needs full sun being placed in full sun and placed in shade. When I purchased my asparagus, it came in 6 root bundles. I only had one good full sun space, so I spread the others around. The one planted in full sun is 7 foot high, while the one in the shadiest spot is about 1.5 feet high.
